Baked pears

Ingredients

1/2 cup Orange Juice
4 Pears - medium size
4 tbsp Lemon Juice
1/2 cup Sugar - diet
3 tbsp Cinnamon

Directions

  1. In a small bowl, mix orange and lemon juice. Add half quantity of diet sugar and 1 tbsp cinnamon and mix well.
  2. Peel pears and leave them whole. Core pears using apple corer. Brush pears well from outside with juice mix.
  3. In another small bowl, mix remaining sugar and cinnamon. Fill inside of pears where they were cored with 1 tbsp of sugar and cinnamon mix.
  4. In a baking dish, pour remaining juice mix. Arrange pears in baking dish.
  5. Heat oven to 200-220 C. Put baking dish in oven and bake until pears became soft and golden (about 20 minutes). Brush pears occasionally while cooking with juice from inside the pan.
